Mimico

Mimico waterfrontLocated in South Etobicoke is the gateway to Toronto’s West end waterfront neighbourhoods. It is an area with an abundance of history. Once the location of lake front summer homes for Toronto’s wealthiest in the 1890’s, Mimico is now an up and coming neighbourhood due to gentrification. There are still a number of large mansions left, as well as a larger variety of more affordable housing styles - smaller Edwardian or 1920’s character homes, modern bungalows, war time homes, quaint frame cottages and new townhomes in various locations throughout the area.
