Islington – City Centre West Neighbourhood is a larger diverse area located on the western end of the Bloor subway line offering a number of housing styles. Currently underway is the $40 million Six Points interchange reconfiguration. When completed it will transform the area into a better mixed use, pedestrian friendly network of streets that support all modes of transportation. The road re configurations and adjusted traffic light positions as well as bike lanes, a wide pedestrian boulevard and green plantings - will make it more a place to enjoy - a community centre!
