Just a short distance further south to The Queensway- is Odeon Cineplex and several restaurants on site.

Norseman heights schoolThe area offers several well regarded public schools: Norseman Junior Middle School serves students from JK to Grade 8- situated in the centre of the community with a large park at the back of the school. Adjoined to the school is a Community School facility (operated by Toronto Parks & Recreation) containing office spaces and a large swimming pool. Here they offer various programs with evening and week-end activities for the community. The highly regarded Etobicoke School of the Arts (ESA)- a free standing arts focused school and Etobicoke Collegiate Insitute (ECI) are both located nearby.

A short commute to downtown via public transit- many homes are walking distance to the Islington subway (or a short bus ride). The Gardiner Expressway and Lakeshore Blvd are a short drive south and accessed directly from Islington for easy access to the Airport or downtown Toronto.
